Synopsis:
Two Japanese aircraft carriers make their way out of Japan's Inland Sea, through the Bungo Strait and into the Pacific Ocean where they come into contact with an American submarine, who fires a torpedo at them. Unfortunately, this act draws the attention of other enemy water craft and the sub's crew has to endure 56 minutes of depth bombing. The sub's crew sends red paint to the surface, and the enemy readies itself to head back home, confident that they had sunk the sub, but mourning the loss of an aircraft carrier that was sunk.
