The cover for this issue is shown during an episode of The Adventures of Superman TV show, "The Ghost of Scotland Yard," aired November 7, 1953. At the end of the episode, a British newsstand owner hands Jimmy Olsen a copy and after Jimmy walks offscreen, the magazine seller picks up a copy and starts reading it.
