Synopsis: A smug lawyer tries to trick the devil by selling his soul to him using numerous different contracts to avoid any sort of legal loophole that the devil can exploit. The contracts need to be signed in blood. He spends all night signing the multiple contracts that he ends up dying of blood loss.

It turns out he is over 350 years old and has been cursed by Satan. When she tries to get away from him, every person she encounters dies. She realizes that she can't escape from him and is destined to be his wife forever.

Disclose Notes: This is an uncredited adaptation of Ray Bradbury's 1951 story "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" (later changed to "The Fog Horn") that was first published in the June 23, 1951 issue of The Saturday Evening Post. The film version was released a month before this comic.
