FlagTom y Jerry #31 published ?cover
For the reprint in Tom and Jerry (Western, 1962 Series) #228 (February, 1966), the cover art was modified from the original printing to accommodate the removal of the vertical strip depicting the various MGM characters that appeared in each issue of Tom and Jerry Comics (Dell, 1949 series). This element regularly appeared on the left side of the cover (with some variations) thru issue #122. To compensate for the additional space afforded this cover reprint, Tom's tail was completed to its tip at the cover's left side, and Jerry and Tuffy were "moved forward" to be presented as moving further ahead of Tom toward the cover's right side. This issue's original printing had them closer to even.
