Buck Rogers; Doctor Huer; the Ordlans; The Mind of Minds (Brain of Brains; Will of Wills); Looban
Buck and Dr. Huer are kidnapped by the Ordians and teleported to their home world around the star Beta Lyra after they had stopped the Ordians from stealing the planet Mars. Dr. Huer sacrifices himself to allow Buck to teleport of the planet.

Huer miscalculates transporting Buck and he lands on a moon of Pluto. After Huer contacts Martian police, Wilma disregards orders and steals a rocket to rescue Buck. She helps Buck escape his capture by natives from the Plutonian moon. With Wilma's rocket being damaged, both Wilma and Buck try to solicit help from a rocket freighter but are captured by a Martian merchant named Milgrado. Milgrado is really a pirate and tries to kill Buck and force Wilma to join his crew. Buck and Wilma foil his plans and return to Mars. Within a few months, a war with Venus and Earth has just begun.

Caught in an abandoned mine outside of Pittsburgh, Buck is put into suspended animation by a mysterious gas. He awakes 500 years later and is discovered by Wilma. After introductions, WIlma explains the dominance of Earth by the Mongols and their efforts to rebel against them.
