John Coleman Burroughs, in 1940, prepared the 32-page comics adpatation "Dave Innes of Pellucidar series, the first 12 pages of which appear here. The remaining 20 pages had to wait for another 28 years before being published by Greystoke Press in a 56-page booklet, along with Coleman Burroughs' preliminary sketches.
