First Line: Another weekend was over and Patsy had to get back to London to start work the next day.
Synopsis: On her way back to London, Patsy encounters a handsome stranger when she stops to get coffee. As she leaves, he tells her he needs a ride and offers to drive for her. Soon they are being pursued by two policemen on motorcycles and Patsy can't get him to stop. He escapes the police and takes her to a lonely house in the country. Two men break in and are about to kill her when the stranger intervenes, getting shot himself in the process. She discovers he has jewels in his briefcase and wonders what to do, given that he has just saved her life.
