Linda; Bill Forest
Synopsis:
Linda has a psychological need for men’s affection, rooted in her childhood, when her father abandoned her mother. She meets Bill and falls in love for the first time, but when he is sent away on a long business trip, she relapses into her promiscuous ways, “man after man, date after date.” Bill returns and is angry when he hears of her behavior, but changes his mind when she explains how she got “this terrible disease of mine.” They will be married and this will solve her need for love.

Notes:
The term "nymphomania" is never used in the story but it is fairly clear that this is the disorder Linda is suffering from.
