The 1956 Thomas Alva Edison Foundational Mass Media Awards for Comic Books, lists only Gustav Schrotter as artist for this comic. Only he was awarded as artist for winning in Best American History Comic Book category. Adelaide Lee won for writer of this issue. Writer and artist credits identified in a Associated Press wire service story on April 2, 1956.
