Synopsis:
Margret Sanger grows up in Corning, New York, seeing her mother suffer from the effects of 18 pregnancies. She becomes a nurse and begins to campaign for contraception (still illegal in many venues) and free love. Abrasive and self-centered, she alienates many of her allies and family members, but continues in her struggle. Near the end of her life she helps fund creation of the birth control pill, and sees the Supreme Court declare contraception legal throughout the land.
