Tagging along on a humans' picnic, the birds alert the parents to a danger to their son, and the parents alert the birds to the presence of the family cat.

Flip and Dip trap a lobster so that they might swim in a jungle pool without getting caught by the lobster's claws. Mom sees the trapped lobster and cooks it for the family's supper. But, even as the main course on the Monkeys' menu, the lobster has the last laugh on the kids who caught him.

The lobster actually meets its boiling death between panels 2 and 3 of page two. While alive it is colored green and once becoming the family's featured food it is colored red.
