Per Jim Vadeboncoeur Jr: "Shores gets weaker and weaker in this story as it looks like Rule is taking over the pencil chores as well as the inks. He keeps trying to look like Shores and does a pretty good job of it - so it's difficult to if it's Rule or Shores or some combination of the two on pencils."
