Unusual Element: At least for this story, Barney Bear, Fuzzy, and Wuzzy would appear to hibernate for the winter, per Barney's quote in the opening splash panel: "When the first [snow] flake falls, we'll turn in for our winter's sleep!"

The bunny, who resembles Disney's "Thumper" (from "Bambi") also exhibits an unusual aspect per this thought-balloon-quote: "When it snows, us bunnies become white!" - and, sure enough, he transforms from gray-and-white to all-white. ...But readers are not privy to how this process works, as he continues thinking: "Changing color is a secret process! We have to have privacy!"

Before undergoing this transformation, the bunny speaks directly to the readers: Now, everyone look the other way, while I change to my winter coat!" And, just in case any curious readers might choose not to follow his advice, the next panel shifts to an outdoor scene of Fuzzy and Wuzzy!
