Synopsis: Janie, suffering from amnesia, is found in a forest and taken to the home of artist Frank Stetson and his mother. She can remember nothing of her previous life, except that she was in love with a man named Barry. Frank and Janie fall in love, but she is unable to forget Barry. Her memory returns and she goes home, discovering Barry is now married and a father. Janie realises she never truly loved Barry and returns to Frank.

Madge quits her job and tells Eddie “I want you to marry me at once and set up a home for me! Take care of me!” Eddie has “all he ever wanted . . . a girl who was dependent on him!”

She overhears an elderly couple who regret not having married earlier, having postponed their wedding repeatedly for more than 30 years. She tracks down Hal and says she’ll marry him immediately.
