Trojan Prince Paris comes to Sparta on a mission of good will, but finds that Sparta is planning on waging war against Troy. He escapes to Troy, bringing with him Queen Helen, the unwilling wife of Spartan King Menelaus. The Spartans and their allies sail for Troy, where they lay siege to the city. The Spartans appear to retreat, leaving a large wooden horse. The Trojans bring the horse into the city, but that night Spartans emerge from the horse and plunge the city into chaos. Paris and Helen escape in the confusion.
