In the month of March, 1953, Squadron Commander Dawson received an order that made his face turn pale!
During the Korean War, Colonel Bill Dawson and Captain Jim Carroll are romantic rivals for the same gal back home. Carroll is also the best flight commander in Dawson's unit. When a critical target bombing mission falls to Dawson's command, he picks Carroll to lead the raid. Carroll dutifully sets out on the mission but feels Dawson has chosen him for reasons outside of his skill and experience.

Silent as the winds they rode, the Red Chinese gliders drifted down out of nowhere to dump their cargos of doom on Nationalist shipping!
The freighter Lulane, carrying munitions to Nationalist China is destroyed by a squadron of bomb-carrying Red Chinese gliders, which appear out of nowhere, attack, and swiftly vanish. The Blackhawks investigate a mysterious cloud that might hold the answer.

The Blackhawks had scored again for justice and democracy against the traitorous plot in Zingra City, but in Zingra, the formal duel is not only legal, but practically necessary in some cases.
In Zingra, where dueling is not only legal but integral to the fabric of the culture, Blackhawk is provoked by his enemies into a succession of duels, until one of the duels eventually results in Blackhawk's quite-legal death.
