Strong Bow
Strong Bow
In the Pacific Northwest, Flaming Spear is a new shaman casting prophecies about Strong Bow's death: trampled by buffalo in a canyon, drowned by a flash flood. Strong Bow shoots an arrow-ladder to escape the canyon, and rides a king salmon to safety. He suspects Flaming Spear wants war between the Yakima and Salish tribes, and makes a daring rope-swing and ski ride to the Salish to break the prophecies. Peace is declared as Flaming Spear is punished.

Johnny Thunder watches Father-Son contests at the fair, but has no son to partner with. Not so, as Swift Deer "adopts" JT for the day as his father! They flub at the Sack Race, Peanut Race, and Three-Legged Race with handcuffed ankles. But gunfire erupts in town as bandits loot the bank! Johnny and Swift Deer, ankle-cuffed together, ride Lightning into the midst of bandits and cannon into them like twin missiles. And win a special "Father and Son Crime-Fighting Team" award!
