Bugs buys an old sea chest at an auction. In it is a sailor's diary is which he tells of the Zazztec treasure on Happy Pappy Island. The two go to the island, where they are captured by the Zazztec Indians. Bugs and Porky escape and find the hidden treasure, but Bugs is captured again and is to be sacrificed to appease a rumbling volcano.

Bugs buys some powerful perfume. While visiting the museum he sprays a statue of Hercules, not knowing that a crook is impersonating the statue. The crook hits his head when he passes out from the fumes and when he comes to, Bugs and Porky convince him he is a statue come to life.
