Synopsis:
First, Anne finds out her fiance is already married. Then her branch office is closed and she loses her job. She gets a new job, but finds out she is working for a company that had cheated her father out of thousands by stealing his invention idea before he could patent it. The house where Anne lives with her mother is heavily in debt and they must come up with five hundred pounds or lose the house. When Anne sees the cash in the safe for the excess payroll, she decides to borrow five hundred pounds from the safe and replace it before anyone discovers it is missing.
