The experiment was designed to test what would happen to a spaceman traveling faster than light!
Synopsis:
Jan Holt is accelerated to the speed of light in an ultra-centrifuge and his consciousness is flung out into space. It lands in the body of a dog-like creature on another planet. By luck a spaceship from Earth lands to survey the planet. Holt tries to gain their attention but the explorers dismiss all his attempts to communicate. The rocket is flung into space by a super geyser leaving the explorers behind. Holt jumps into the ship and manages to land it. He is taken back to Earth as a reward. He runs off to the hospital where his mentality is drawn back to his body as he gets close.
