The Viking Prince
Viking Prince; Freya (tiny woman, not the goddess); Gunda / Gunnda (imagined)
Toiling at the Twelve Tasks of Thor, Jon is shipwrecked. He awakens tied down, Gulliver-like, by tiny people. Tiny Freya trusts him, and cuts him free when raiders attack. He drives them off, and offers to fight for their homeland. They ask he enter a cave to be shrunk by vapors. He shrinks and saves Freya from a spider. Even tiny, he shows the people how to rescue the Mute Bard from a giant squid, then infiltrate a raider ship and drive off the villains. The vapors wear off and he regains his size, says goodbye, and sails off.

King Arthur and Merlin are challenged by the Three Queens of Dread - Kranda, Xlla, and Larique - who quarrel as to who should be Queen of Dread. The SK must accept three challenges. Celia jumps to protect him, and the SK rallies. Second task complete. Third task: a trick! The SK must sword-fight Queen Kranda. He can't attack a woman, and stumbles. 1) Part 2 of story. 2) Last appearance of the Silent Knight in The Brave and the Bold. He appeared occasionally in later DC stories. 3) The Silent Knight was ret-conned to be Brian KENT, a distant ancestor of Clark Kent. And he was ret-conned as one incarnation of Hawkman because of his hawk emblem. Thus Superman and Hawkman share a common ancestor.
