One day Thumper hopped along a forest trail far from home, searching in vain for a familiar landmark.
Escaping from a wolf in an unfamiliar part of the forest, Thumper gets lost. He helps an also lost wolf pup find his father, who turns out to be the wolf Thumper was fleeing from. The grateful wolf guides Thumper back to his home, but only on the condition that he is seen chasing the rabbit... so as to preserve his wolf's honor.
