Siblings Carl and Cynthia spent their early years cross-dressing in order to have laughs on their friends but fall out of favor with each other. Some time later, Carl sees that his sister has married into money, so he murders his sister and her husband and then disguises himself as her in order to have access to those funds as beneficiary. Unfortunately, Carl makes a bone-headed mistake while "dating" Peter's lawyer.

Two disguised crooks enter the offices of President Simon Goober and demand all his cash. When he opens the safe, the crooks pull out stage money. Furious, they demand that Goober write them a check, made out to cash, for all but $100 in the account, and, as a final insult, demand the five cigars Goober has in his pocket. After they have left, Goober and his assistant share a laugh as the check was filled out with invisible ink....and the cigars were explosive ones!

Alma and Luke decide to butter up Alma's boss lady at the fabulous Sanford Manion in order to get Alma listed in the old lady's will as beneficiary for a cool $250,000. But waiting for her to die got onto Luke's nerves, so he decided to hurry the process up a little. But his plan literally blows up in his and Alma's face.

Ed has finally tracked down Marty, the man who stole his woman and his money. Ed plans to shoot Marty in his diner, but Marty has a plan. He stalls for time, knowing a policeman will be along soon for his usual late-night snack. When the cop arrives outside, Ed realizes he's been tricked and Marty taunts him mercilessly. Then, just before the officer can enter the diner, a speeding car roars by and the cop reluctantly has to chase after it. Poor Marty.
