First Line: Dennis is a very heavy sleeper

Synopsis: Dennis is woken up by what seems like an earthquake. Outside his bedroom his mum and dad are shaking and neither wants to go first so Dennis takes the lead. The front door is still locked but there is a big man-shaped hole next to it. There are footsteps leading from the hole and they lead to a large figure draped in seaweed. Pulling the seaweed off Dennis reveals Desperate Dan who has sleepwalked all the way from America. Dan is starving and Dennis's mum and dad hope he'll leave soon before he eats them out of house and home!

Synopsis: Big Eggo thinks that someone has taken her egg again. She finds an egg and then hatches it out only to discover it's a crocodile egg. Korky tried to steal a fish off the table but is chased by the chef. Korky sees a stuffed fish in a display case and then swaps it for a real fish while the chef isn't looking. A diner at a table has a nasty surprise when he tucks into the cooked stuffed fish.

Synopsis: Big Eggo sees two wardens sitting on a bench. She ties their braces together and then blows a whistle. The wardens jump up and run in opposite directions before being snapped back by the braces. The wardens are out on their blackout patrol and they see Big Eggo in a house with a light on. They grab Big Eggo and pluck all her feathers off. They glue the feathers onto the window to block any more light getting out.

Korky puts a sign in the window of the shop advertising waltzing mice cheap.

Synopsis: Big Eggo stands in a crowd watching a pipe band going past. The pipe band leave on a train with one member staying behind. Two newspaper men decide they want a photograph of the Scotsman playing his pipes but all the instruments have gone away on the train. The newspaper men whisper to some boys and the boys then grab Eggo. They paint her to resemble a bagpipe so that the newspaper men can take their photograph.

Synopsis: Korky's nephews are collecting fireworks for Guy Fawkes day. Korky see the fireworks and thinks he'll play a trick on the nephews. He ties the fireworks onto his body so he looks like a monstrous bird and then jumps out to scare his nephews. The nephews suggest Korky plays the same trick on Old Giles. The nephews sharpen a knife on a stone and send some sparks towards Korky which then cause the fireworks to ignite to the amusement of all.

Synopsis: Biffo buys a giant rocket from a fireworks shop. Some boys light the fuse while Biffo is holding it and the rocket carries Biffo through a hedge into a scarecrow. The boys see the scarecrow, with an unconscious Biffo inside, and think it would make a good Guy. They collect many pennies for the Guy as they push it around. Biffo wakes up and runs away with the money. Biffo is then able to buy more fireworks.

He ties Korky to the front of the ship as a figurehead. When the ship sets sail Korky soon becomes seasick and is the Green Sea-Cat just like the ship's name.

Billy tells Mabel that they are going upstairs to do some homework. Upstairs they change into their costumes and go on patrol. They soon see the crook and Billy jumps from a roof to a street lamp which breaks under his weight. Katie dresses up as an old woman and is soon targeted by the crook. Katie throws the crook to the ground and the cats tie him up for collection by the police.

Winker and his pals raid Clarence's private pantry for food for the girls leaving nothing for Clarence and his sister.

Tommy throws the ball at Smasher and accidentally breaks a window. Another angry man comes out of the house chases after Smasher. Smasher passes the ball back to Pete who is then caught by the two angry men.

Mr. Bongo says he has invented a hair cutting machine but it is very rough on the animals.

Synopsis: Aunt Aggie rubs camphorated oil into Dan's chest to cure his cold. The next morning when Dan wakes up he finds his chest hairs have grown massively as Aunt Aggie has accidentally used hair restorer. Dan has trouble cutting the hairs and eventually the army have to blast the hairs off with cannons. Dan leaves the army his hairs as they make better bayonnets than steel.

Synopsis: Plum has opened a hairdressing shop. He doesn't have many customers but the two that he does have end up with ruined haircuts. Then Buffalo Bill come in covered in cactus spines after chasing buffalo. Plum thinks he can help Bill for a small fee. Plum cuts the spines off cactus plants using his hairdressing tools.

Synopsis: Two acrobats are performing in the street for money. One swings on the pole outside Korky's barber shop and breaks it. The pair run away. Korky visits a fireworks shop and buys the biggest rocket they have. Korky mounts the rocket in place of the broken pole. The acrobats pass by again and both climb onto the rocket. Korky lights the fuse and sends the acrobats off into the air.

Synopsis: The kids are doing an art class. Teacher hopes that they are doing nice drawings of a vase but none of them are. The bell rings and all the kids pile out of the door. On the way home the kids see an advert in a hairdressing salon for assistants and decide to apply. The students cause chaos in the salon until the owner returns and sends them packing. It's not just customers who have suffered, many of the kids also sport strange hair styles and other after effects.

Synopsis: Dick's dad is fed-up with the length of Dick's hair and drags him to the barber's. Dick plays with a hair dryer and blows the barber's wig off. Dick picks the wig up on his foot as he is chased out of the barber's and then tries it on his head so it looks his hair has been cut. Dick gets a toffee wrapper stuck on the wig and Dick's dad pulls the wig off when he sees it. He decides to try the wig on for himself. He then takes Dick back to the barber's to get his hair cut properly. The barber recognises the wig immediately and starts fighting with Dick's dad.

Synopsis: Corporal Clott is sent out on a motor-bike after Colonel Grumbly who has left on holiday without his suitcase. Clott reaches the railway station just in time to see the train leaving and decides to catch up with the train. Clott throws the case onto the train but the the Colonel is knocked off. Clott picks the Colonel up and sets off after the train. As the Colonel climbs on he is seen by the inspector and kicked off the train. Clott is already on the train and sees the Colonel being left behind and throws the suitcase down for him. Clott is then left on the train to go on the holiday.

The children soon tire of this and Dan then borrows the inside of a lighthouse to make a helter-skelter. Dan then borrows a railway turntable to make a joy wheel. Some rail porters come along to complain and so Dan then borrows some rail track to make a roller coaster for the children.

Synopsis: Wee Davie has planned a programme of royal visits for King Willie. They go to the fairground first where they are thrown off the roundabout onto the helter-skelter. King Willie injures his foot so they go to the hospital next. Then they go to the ice-cream factory where they eat too much and rush to visit the castor oil factory. The come out feeling better and King Willie kicks a can on the road which then breaks a window. They both end up in the town jail which is one visit that Davie hasn't planned.

At the fair Brassneck drops an old vase behind Snodgrass and pretends that it's a valuable item. The class rush to the funfair to escape and Brassneck pushes Snodgrass onto the Ghost Train which he then speeds up. Snodgrass crashes through the props and is chased by the owner into a helter skelter where he then crashes into a prize stall. Snodgrass is now the headline in the newspaper.

Synopsis: Jumbo tries to make his models mimic a pyramid pose from a circus acrobatic troop, The Fearless Flashes. It's more difficult than it looks. He takes his models out to the moors to practise more. He finishes practising and then sees a badger. He follows it into an old building where he falls through the rotten floor. He takes his models out his backpack and makes them perform a pyramid with the top model being a flame throwing soldier. The soldier then sets some of the wood on fire. The smoke is seen and firemen are called and they are able to rescue Jumbo and his models.

Even though it's only the power that's been turned off the owner tells Roger that he'll have to wait until the next day before he can get the wheel checked.

Synopsis: Randall sees a fortune teller in a caravan and thinks that it's an easy way to earn cash. Cruncher says he's a fortune teller as well and throws a crystal ball at Randall and Billy. Randall and Billy set up their own fortune telling caravan but Cruncher steals their money and walks away laughing. Cruncher comes back to the caravan which is now empty. He looks into the crystal ball and a huge hairy hand frightens him off. The hairy hand is actually Billy hiding under the crystal ball. Cruncher runs into a rope trap that Randall has set up and all the stolen money pours out of his pockets.

Along the way the stop to watch a football match by standing on the sideboard. The sideboard collapses under the weight. They try repairing it but it collapses again. At that moment Smiffy's granny asks the kids to take an old sideboard to the dump. The sideboard looks the same as the first one so the kids deliver it safely to Teacher. Teacher then smashes the sideboard to pieces to be burned in the school boiler.

Synopsis: Tickets for a football match are sold out so the Jocks decide to play a game themselves and pinch a ball from the Geordies. Then they find the goal posts in the park have been removed. Elsewhere the Geordies decide to practise being stretcher bearers and are given some old stretchers from the hospital. The Jocks steal the stretchers off the Geordies to use as goal posts. The Jocks then start a fight with the Geordies. When that has finished the Geordies reclaim their stretchers. The Geordies are then invited in to the sold-out football match in case extra stretchers are needed.

Trotty has his arm put in a sling by Matron which gives Winker an idea. During a football match all the team are "injured" and have their arms put in slings. The boys then go out for a picnic but are accosted by the Hoods. The boys whip catapults out of their slings and attack the Hoods. During the onslaught the Hoods' face coverings are whipped off. The Hoods retreat into the sick bay. When they burst out they have covered up their heads in bandages.

Synopsis: Teacher wants the kids to practise for for the forthcoming football season. The football strips are very old fashioned so he decides to look at more modern strips. The kids can't decide what colour to have so he brings out some striped pyjama jackets. During the practice their only ball is accidentally blown up so Teacher gives the kids a ball of string to practise with. The kids soon wrap themselves up with the string, which is what Teacher had planned for all along.

Ali pulls the circus cannon to outside the bank and loads it up with rotten fruit, bad eggs and the like. The police show up just as Ali points the cannon at the thieves exiting the bank. But the cannon is a trick one and fires backwards on the police!

Suddenly Roger's dad jumps up, looks out of the window into the garden and dashes out to chase some dogs away. They have entered the garden through a hole in the fence. The job that Roger was supposed to do was fix the hole in the fence. What's more Roger's dad was going to raise Roger's pocket money when the hole was fixed.

Synopsis: Aunt Fanny's cat is stuck up a tree. Screwy sends his Dad up a ladder to rescue the cat but his Dad gets stuck inside the tree. Screwy then sends his Grandad up to hold on to his Dad's legs while he tries to winch them out. His Dad falls and Grandad is then stuck up the tree. Dad holds on the ladder as Screwy goes up but the ladder slips and falls on a fence causing Dad to be flung back into the tree with Grandad. Screwy puts a pile of boxes under the tree for them to jump into. Grandad holds the cat up for Aunt Fanny who says that it isn't her cat. Her cat is found at home on a bed.

At tea Teddy sits beside Uncle Bert as Pa bear will usually snaffle his food. But it's Pa Bear again and he pinches the food. Teddy has a plan to tell them apart. He lures Pa Bear into a mouse trap which snaps closed on his nose. Now he can tell them apart as Pa Bear has a swollen red nose.

Synopsis: At breakfast Dinah says she's fed up with school. Her Dad is fed up with work at the office and so they agree to swap roles. At work Dinah plays games on the computer and breaks it. The Boss tells her that she'll have to work out the sales figures by hand. At school Dad is shouted at by the teacher for reading in class and then asked where the 200 lines for eating a pizza in class are. Dinah hasn't done the lines so Dad has to write them out during the lunch break. When they get back home Dinah and Dad agree to swap back again and next morning both are pleased to go their normal ways.

He sees a sign for help wanted on a pig farm but when he applies the pigs object to the state he's in and he doesn't get the job.

Synopsis: Two of the crew of the Kipper are talking. A.B. Moaner says that he never sees daylight under the ocean. Moaner is told he is lucky because Jonah can't get at them down below. On the surface Jonah is discovered hiding on board a cargo ship and then chased around. He is caught and hangs onto the ship's anchor release handle which then accidentally releases the anchor. Jonah is thrown overboard. The anchor crashes through the submarine below and Jonah gets sucked inside. The crew abandon ship surprised that Jonah could get to them in a submarine.

Synopsis: Jonah is floating on the ocean on a wooden crate. A swordfish throws Jonah into the air and he lands on board the "Ragworm's Revenge". The captain, Timmy Fogg, has been bemoaning what wonderful things he could do if only he had a crew when Jonah lands at his feet. Timmy says that his mission is to protect creatures from a nearby whaler. Jonah says he knows some of the whales. Unfortunately the whale he meets is Moby Dick who turned white when Jonah sank the Irish dredging fleet on top of him. In panic Moby Dick flees and sinks the whaler. Timmy congratulates Jonah for sinking the ship.

He chases the attackers away wearing the Sphinx's head. He then blows some sand into the air and sets off back across the Atlantic. He sees a German U-boat and borrows it to bore under the ground. He bursts through the surface with the sea following him just as the sandstorm arrives and makes a seaside.

Synopsis: Teacher takes the students on to a man-o'-war ship. The students try to pull Teacher's suit of armour off but are foiled when the ship's captain chops the rope. Teacher chases the students up a mast where the children drop a sail on top of Teacher and the captain. Fortunately the captain has his marlin spike and Teacher cuts his way out. One of the ship's crew has caught a fish but he doesn't want it and so throws it over his shoulder. It lands inside Teacher's armour and he falls overboard. A passing seal propels Teacher back to the ship where he puts the students on the oars to row.

Clott swivels the guns to a better position and accidentally fires them. Clott is chased around the ship and hides in the magazine. He lights a match and blows up the ship. The Admiral and the sailors chase Clott back to the camp where they fight with the army over who will tear Clott apart.

The farmer sees the pair in his orchard, thinks they're trespassers and sets his dog on them. The dog pins Sam to the ground but Sam's helmet scares the dog off. Rest of story missing.

Dad Dome resolves to do some repairs but the first one he tackles punctures Mum Dome's air-filled chair sending her into the ceiling. Mum Dome then sends Dad Dome out to buy some milk. Synopsis: Neptune and some kids are playing rugger in the street. The octopus policeman sends them all packing and walks off laughing. Neptune gets the kids to help him dig a big hole. The octopus policeman falls in the hole where crabs nip the ends of his tentacles.

Synopsis: Chips's mum asks Chips to help her put up some curtains. He stands on a chair on top of a table near a window. Beefy sees this and pushes the chair away causing Chips to pull the curtain and rail down. Chips's mum then sends Chips to buy replacements but Beefy intercepts Chips on his way back home. He rubs mud into the curtain infuriating Chips who bashes Beefy on the head with the rail. Beefy rolls down the hill wrapped up in the curtain into Chips's mum who then drags Beefy off to see what his dad has to say about this.

Synopsis: Chips holds a shop door open for Mrs Beef who asks Beefy why he can't be well mannered like Chips. Beefy is angry with Chips and when he sees Chips holding a door open for another woman he tricks him into letting the door go into the woman's face. Chips then politely lets a woman go through a revolving door first. Beefy picks Chips up and throws him through the door causing the woman to be flung out. Chips leaves the shop through a door. Beefy follows and Chips lets the door go into Beefy's face. Beefy chases Chips but then falls through a trap door that Chips holds open for him.

Synopsis: Biffo invites Buster to shake hands so they can be friends. Biffo's hand is stained red because Buster has been painting a fence. Buster apologises about the paint and offers to shake hands again. Unfortunately Biffo has been baking and Buster's hand is now covered in dough. Later, in the street, they agree to shake hands while both are wearing gloves. A man walks between them and the gloves fall to the ground. Both bend down at the same time and crack heads. The pair walk away from each other shaking their hands in temper.

Synopsis: Biffo and Buster see the cinema commissionaire throwing his old uniform out. They both want it but Buster gets the trousers and Biffo gets the jacket and cap. They go for a cup of tea where Buster pinches the cap and jacket off a coat hook. Later, Biffo calls in to a theatre and asks if he can borrow some scenery. The next day Buster receives an invitation to start work as a commissionaire at the Palace cinema. Buster stands in front of the cinema but then the passers-by laugh at Buster when Biffo moves the scenery board to reveal a school.

Synopsis: Buster is hiding behind a dustbin with a pop-gun. He stands up, shoots and hits Biffo on the nose with a cork. Biffo then hides behind a wall and when Buster walks past points a water pistol at him. Buster says that's not a pop-gun but Biffo says yes it is because he's filled it with ginger pop. Buster chases Biffo and they crash into a pile of empty boxes. The shopkeeper makes the pair stack them back up again.

Synopsis: Biffo has a new dog. He and Buster are trying to decide what to call him. They discount Trixie and Slasher. Then Buster looks in a book of dogs' names but Biffo doesn't like any of them. Buster throws the book at Biffo and they start fighting. Fighting doesn't settle the problem so they decide to call it quits. Then they decide to call the dog Quits and write his name on the kennel. But then Quits quits the pair.

Synopsis: Jimmy's magic patch takes him to a country where dinosaurs roam. He narrowly avoids a brontosaurus and then a triceratops before a huge gorilla picks him up. Strang the Terrible appears and challenges the gorilla to a fight. Strang knocks the gorilla out and then carries Jimmy away on his shoulder. Jimmy starts to talk to Strang when suddenly his magic patch takes him back home to the table with a comic in his hand.

Synopsis: Dennis and Curly are playing football in the living room. Dennis's dad gives the pair money to go to a boxing match. Unfortunately the seats are prebooked so they return home. Dennis's dad then gives them a board to play chess on. Dennis is not keen as chess is a softies' game. He accuses Curly of cheating after losing and the pair start fighting with their catapults in the living room. Dennis's dad stops the fighting and the pair wait for punishment. Dennis puts a thick book down the back of his pants but is seen doing this by his dad.

Synopsis: Dennis is playing with Walter by swinging him round his head. Later, Walter's dad calls round to tell Dennis's dad that Walter has mumps. Dennis is sent round to give Walter some fruit. Walter is terrified and sends Dennis away with the fruit. Some germs jump off Walter onto Dennis as he leaves and he carries them back home. Dennis's dad thinks Dennis has the mumps but the swelling is just a mouthful of fruit. Dennis is too tough for the germs so they jump on to his dad instead.

Synopsis: Crow wants to come out on a mission with Bananaman and takes a bit of banana off Eric. Crow grows into a large, muscular Crow. Eric changes to Bananaman and the pair go out together. They are hit with a stink bomb dropped from a plane which they follow and discover it has no pilot. It is under remote control by General Blight and he robs a bank remotely with it. Crow disables the plane and swoops down on Blight carrying him off.

Synopsis: The Puttyfeet tribe are carrying a new totem pole back to their camp. They pass through the Smellyfeet camp with it and say they'll come back the next day. Chiefy knows that it will just be to sneer at their old pole and so he orders Plum to get a new pole by then. Plum first tries to make a pole by stacking his friends one on top of another but that is a failure. Plum has an idea when is in Cactusville and buys dozens of novelty balloons. When blown into giant size they look like totem poles. The Puttyfeet are very impressed by all the new totem poles when they visit.

Synopsis: Cedric de Geordie, El Ced for short, is a famed goblin fighter. He hears the gobblin' Celts in the forest eating porridge, haggis and cock-a-leekie. He chases the Celts off and they hide in a hut which he flattens by riding his horse over it. The Celts go to McMerlin the magician for help and borrow Fido the fire-breathing dragon. Fido comes up against Cedric who puts Fido's flame out with a fire extinguisher. Cedric advances on the Celts with his bludgeon when suddenly a huge Celt comes out. He is Angus McHate and he hates all Englishmen. He chases Cedric off.

Synopsis: Chiefy is cold and lights a fire inside his wigwam. Unfortunately the smoke can't escape and he dashes out coughing. Chiefy catches Plum and orders him to make a chimney for his wigwam. Later Chiefy admires the smart fireplace inside the wigwam but looking outside he hates the huge chimney that Plum has built. Chiefy orders Plum to take the chimney down and takes a swipe at it. The chimney collapses against the tribe's totem pole. It is undamaged because it is made of aluminium. Plum has an idea and moves the pole into the wigwam and through the top to act as a chimney.

Biffo gets revenge by using one of his ears as a catapult to fling some mud back. Biffo now thinks that big ears are great.

Synopsis: Jack and Curly are walking past a bakery when the shopkeeper dashes through them chasing mice. He explains to them that he's tried everything to get rid of the mice but failed. Jack borrows his Uncle Zilaz's tootlehorn which he plays and the mice then follow him out of the shop. Captain Zapp snatches the tootlehorn off Jack which he then plays at the zoo. The animals follow Zapp into the city and then run amok when he stops playing. During the pandemonium Zapp robs a jewellery shop. Fortunately Curly has recorded Jack playing the tootlehorn and plays it to quieten the animals.

In the scrum that surrounds the space-ship the Bong bird (with her chicks) and the WUM get on board but the Pobble gets left behind as the ship takes off. Willie is left behind with the only Pobble in the world.
