Phil; Myra Rolfe; Roy; Julie; Mrs Rolfe; Dr. Larson
Phil and Myra carefully plan their future. When Myra needs medical treatment for a dizzy spell, she overhears the doctor tell her mother that Myra has two months to live. Mrs Rolfe doesn't tell Myra about the conversation and Myra slips into despair as her plans come to an end. She breaks up with Phil--he would pity her while looking for the nearest exit. As the dizziness and headaches worsen, she tells Phil the truth. They go back to the doctor and discover Myra heard only half the story. An arduous operation is possible as a last resort if the condition worsens. The operation is successful.
