Notes:
Series of 4-panel gag cartoons. The series is predicated on the idea that for Cerebus, Hell is being turned into a 4-panel gag cartoon. Many of the character appearances are themselves gags (such as Dante identifying a number of cloaked figures as DC Comics' Spectre).
Outside of Cerebus himself, all art comes from Gustave Doré's woodcut-illustrated edition of Dante's Inferno.
Dante Alighieri is jokingly credited as "inker."
