Aldous Bryant was very proud of his two sons, Graham and Duncan. They were good boys, and the old man felt that the future of his farm was secure... but that was before I, Pearla Parish, knew them... things were different after that...
Synopsis:
A father expects his two sons to take over his farm, but Graham wants to go to Paris to be an artist. He leaves after quarreling with his father. For four years, he makes no effort to contact the family. News arrive that he has returned to the village, but he dies before his brother can get to him. There, Duncan meets Graham's wife who he met in Lima after failing in Paris. Duncan invites her to their farm where his father welcomes her and Duncan starts to fall in love with her. But Vivian, who had always loved Graham, wants revenge on the woman who 'stole' him from her.
