Mmmm…I could go on dancing for ever to this lovely waltz.
At the Easter Ball alone, Judy meets Geoff and they fall for each other, but Geoff is returning to South America for work. He doesn't want Judy to have to live there and tries to get a better posting in Canada. When he tells Judy he's not been successful, she discovers he had a girl in South America and refuses to see him again. She only realises her mistake after he leaves and cannot contact him. Next Easter, she goes to the Ball alone again and remembers Geoff. He arrives, wanting to make her his 'Easter bride'.

Kathy is woken by a loud noise and fears she has been shot at. Housekeeper Hester arrives first and accuses her of dreaming. Then Mr Lance arrives and smells cordite and finds a bullet hole. Kathy runs in panic intending to escape the island, but lands in the arms of her blind employer, Rupert Benedict. Benedict calls everyone in the household together and announces that he will name the person who has brought violence to his house.

When nine year-old Becky is caught stealing apples from nasty young Squire Danby's orchard, her poor parents send her to live with Aunt Cora. Initially refusing, Becky comes to love Cora's exclusive dress shop and becomes a model for her. Six years later, she goes home and visits her old haunts. Miles Danby falls from his horse when he sees her climbing his wall. While he refuses to accept a woman's help following a broken romance, Becky looks after him. She falls in love as he recovers and learns to laugh again. When it is time to go, Miles asks her to never leave.

Mark first saw me (though, of course, I didn't see him), when I was singing at Golders Green Hippodrome.
Singer Suzi Miller tells how she met her husband Mark. He heard her sing and decided he wanted to meet her, which latter happened when he accidentally tripped her dance partner. While Suzi was initially angry, they started dating. She gave up her singing career to get married, but was later encouraged with the support of her husband to not waste her lovely voice.

The inevitable happens when Archie nearly falls from a ladder and Cindy's clothes are ruined. The next morning, Cindy is determined to use every ounce of glamour to make Robin notice her. She arrives at the cafe in her cheap new dress to meet Jacqueline, Gina and Ruby—employed by Robin to provide glamour and encourage chaps to pay more for coffee.

Who was the girl in the picture? This question tormented Pippa…
Moving to London, Pippa works in a coffee bar. Fascinated by a handsome customer, she spills coffee on him. Andrew's anger settles and he asks to paint Pippa. They fall for each other during the portrait, but Pippa worries about the painting of a woman that Andrew hides. Andrew's portrait of Pippa is accepted for exhibition. At the gallery, the woman in the painting insults Pippa and flirts with Andrew. Later, Pippa finds Andrew with Karen's arms around him. Pippa runs away and nearly falls down stairs, but is saved by Andrew. Karen means nothing to him.
