A plane crash lands on Blackhawk Island and the survivor, Chop-Chop, tells Blackhawk about a food profiteer named Markov, who is mad at a Red Cross nurse in the Drina River Valley in Yugoslavia, because she is giving crippled soldiers food for free. The Blackhawks decide to intervene and run smack dab into a large Nazi force.

The 3 unidentified members are likely Stanislaus, Zeg, and Chuck (or possibly Boris). The last page of this story isn't related to the main story at all, but is a message in nine panels by Blackhawk (aided by Chop-Chop) to the readers, informing them that in the next issue (#4) there would be a giant map of Blackhawk Island, suitable for framing.
