Synopsis:
Conan tracks the Aquilonians Ormon and Pembrok to the city of the Khirgiz monks, where he finds an old friend, the former slave girl Nafertari who under the name Zabibi has returned home to be worshipped as the daughter of the god Raktavashi. Ormon and Pembrok kidnap her in order to cash in on the reward posted for her safe recovery by her lover Jungir Khan of Zamboula. When Conan kills the Aquilonians, the high priest Yogok tries to sacrifice her to Raktavashi. The trolls of the mountain intervene, set her free and pay tribute to her as the daughter of a god.
