Synopsis: Salome, posing as her twin sister Taramis, orders the Khauran army to turn the city over to Constantius, but Conan refuses. The army is slain and Constantius has Conan nailed to a cross in the desert. Conan is later rescued by Olgerd, leader of a band of outlaws. Seven months later, Marcios learns that Taramis is still alive in the dungeon. Conan takes control of Olgerd's army and prepares to attack Khauran. Constantius' army meets Conan's army in the desert outside Khauran. Conan and Marcios rescue Taramis from Salome's dungeon then Conan gets his revenge on Constantius.
