Synopsis:
The Phantom Blot wants to get into the history books as the most infamous western outlaw. Goofy, having inadvertently drunk a flask of Gyro's super fuel, believes himself to be a super-hero. Somehow, these two ideas manage to come together nicely.

While this is the first ever mention of the "Super Goof" concept, this early version of Super Goof is not the character from Super Goof (Western, 1965 Series), who is powered by "Super Goobers". Here, Goofy is only dressed up as a super-hero and self-fooled into thinking he has powers, which he doesn't.
Super Goof appears next in Donald Duck (Western, 1962 series) #102 (July 1965), followed by Walt Disney's Super Goof (Western, 1965 series) #1 (October 1965).
