Black Jack survives his ship's explosion and is rescued by a tribe of South Sea natives who live on a remote island and make him their leader. Black Jack, knowing their greed for money, orders his subjects to unearth treasures of the seabed, but one of his subjects drowns and the other is rescued by Aquaman, who discovers their plans. Aquaman ends Black Jack's plans, but not before facing the shark devil, the protector of the island.
