When Larry is facing certain death as a Japanese captive, he recalls an old rivalry that always forced him to do better and overcome his circumstances, no matter how daunting. Naturally, the tactic works and he gains his freedom, meeting up again with his rival, who reveals that he in turn looks up to Larry's brother, Sgt. Rock.
