Synopsis:
Mrs. Green photographs evidence that J. P. Richy was murdered and tries to blackmail Dewdrop and Sticks into paying her more money for her role in their scheme. When Mrs. Green confronts them with her demands, Sticks clubs her. Meanwhile, Tracy, disguised as a gas utility worker, collects evidence from the basement workshop that will tie the Sticks duo to the chamber built into the tree where the baby was hidden. Believing Mrs. Green to be dead, Dewdrop and Sticks hide her in Sticks' bass drum and take her to a landfill where they set the drum on fire and flee.

Notes:
Page 7 of this story was heavily edited. In panel 2, Sticks is apparently holding a club behind his back, but the club has been eliminated from the panel. In panel 3, not only is the club missing, but Mrs. Green has also been edited from the panel. Panel 4 shows only a silhouette lying on the floor. There is no trace of Mrs. Green's body in panels 5 and 6, even thought the dialogue in panel 6 indicates that Dewdrop and Sticks are checking the body. Mrs. Green's body is also absent from panel 3 of page 8. These changes were probably made at the insistence of the Comics Code Authority.
The left column of page 1 is a text summary of the previous issues. The story begins in column 2. There is also a page of ads between pages 1 and 2 of the story and four pages of ads between pages 13 and 14 of the story.
