Synopsis:
Running low on supplies in a winter drive, trail boss Gil Favor tells Wishbone and Mushy to go to the nearest town and stock up. At the Clanton General Store, the two are beaten without provocation and sent away without supplies. Gil and Rowdy go to town and find that a previous trail herd had trashed the town and killed three men, so the town refuses to do business with any trail herd. Rowdy and Gil leave, but the townsmen decide to hurry them on their way by stampeding the herd. The stampede backfires when it heads toward the town and Gil and Rowdy have to turn the cattle away.
