After building a jumbo model airplane, Ruff and Reddy go on a test flight and crash-land at a scientist's compound. He has a rocket ready for launch and needs two pilots. Ruff and Reddy volunteer. The rocket takes the two to a planet where civilization is at a Middle Ages level, complete with knights, castles, and kings. The two adapt their model plane design to work with horsepower and defeat a knight who is threatening the castle.

Ruff; Reddy
Ruff and Reddy accidentally sail to Hawaii, wrecking their rented ship on the beach. They try their hand at surf boarding in order to win a contest, but end up far offshore. They are picked up by a boat that's short of crewmen. Ruff and Reddy's lack of sailing skills ends up beaching that boat, too; but it turns out the two men on the boat were pirates who had just stolen it. The reward allows them to book passage on a cruise back to the states.

Reddy becomes a "Private Nose." He and Ruff try to solve the mystery of a race car whose engine is missing (not running smoothly). In the meantime a dimwitted crook decides to use the race car for a bank robbery. He coasts it downhill to the bank, robs it, then tries to make his getaway. He doesn't get far because the engine starts sputtering and missing and the police capture him. Ruff solves the problem of the missing engine by finding a peanut stuck in the fuel line.
