First Line:
With the support of this council and the grant we received, we're looking at multiple spaces around town for site-specific art pieces.
Synopsis:
Main Jane spends the summer in France, assisting Gita as she teaches art. Back at home each of the group is spinning away, finding new focus during senor year. New girl Payne disdains the collective's work as institutional, and makes secret art attacks of her own... Officer Sanchez assumes that PLAIN is violating its agreements. Eventually Jane and Payne learn from each other artistically. A lockdown drill immobilizes Jane in flashbacks, but she rouses herself to interpose her body when the city tries to bulldoze the art park, and most of the high school joins her.
