They stood here and fired right through the glass.
The evidence points to Rudy Seaton as the killer of Fred Mason. Tracy has Seaton arrested, then uses Leota Sunny (Mary X with her memory restored) to set a trap for the real killer. The kill, Junky Doolb, is taken to jail, where he is slipped a gun by the St. Bernard dog of a midget lawyer, Jerome Trohs. In the jailbreak, the lawyer escapes by riding on the large dog, while Doolb is killed. Trohs takes over Doolb's gang with the aid of his wife, Mamma, a huge woman.
