Harold plans to nail his uncle's body up inside the coffin to prevent any future autopsies but when Latham intervenes, Harold kills him. Harold has a story prepared for the police about Latham's death but when the police arrive they find Samuel alive inside the coffin - Latham's pills simulated death so Samuel could spy on his nephew's true character.
