Sadie moves to Tombstone, where Lola finds her and makes her a dance hall girl. She trades him the stake in her father's useless gold mine for ownership of the dancehall, The Bird Cage. She falls for Buck Benson after a fight in the Bird Cage. She employs him to work the gambling tables, then shoots him when she finds he's been stealing the take. The sheriff arrives and give her the chance to leave or hang. She leaves town...

He tires of her histrionics and leaves. Her father informs her that his first wife was an insufferable invalid that made his life miserable. Ann realizes her mistake and wins him back.
