The Legionnaires at the ceremony try to get a handle on the panic caused by the complete failure of technology, with Ultra Boy flying the President to a hospital outside the affected zone. Above, Karate Kid deals with a prison population in a prison that will soon start plummeting to the ground. With most of the Legion busy, Chuck Taine sends in the Legion recruits and Dr. Gym'll to try and help, but Dr. Gym'll is quickly taken out by Arrow. Elsewhere, Timber Wolf responds to a scream, but instead of finding someone in distress, he finds himself with a trident in the chest, courtesy of Devil.
