Linda; Paul; Dr. Edward Horner; Hazel Horner
After feeling high school boys are too immature and losing an older boyfriend to the military draft, teen-ager Linda decides to find a “single man above the draft age—-over 26” to marry at a summer resort hotel. She chooses fellow guest Ed, then learns he’s 35, “almost old enough to be my father!” Ed introduces her to his teen-age daughter Hazel; he says he only romanced Linda to prevent her from “falling into the clutches of any unscrupulous man!” Linda and Hazel go off to college where there are plenty of eligible boys of their own age.
