Step forward, Captain America!
Namor attacks a group of eskimos and throws their idol into the sea. When the ice melts, the figure trapped within turns out to be Captain America, in suspended animation since the end of World War II. The Avengers rescue Cap and return to New York. An alien figure turns our heroes to stone. When Cap and Rick Jones track him down, the alien agrees to restore the Avengers if they agree to help him recover his broken space ship in return. When doing so, the Avengers are attacked by Namor and his people. The restored spaceship ultimately drives off Namor and his men.

Ben and Johnny's hi-jinks are interrupted by the arrival of a pair of LIFE Magazine reporters, who are there to interview Reed and Sue. When the news reports Sub-Mariner is heading for NYC, Ben and Johnny figure they can make an impression by tackling him on their own. Taking out the "U-Car," they find Namor, who seems to be expecting them. A fight breaks out, ending when Namor leaves, feeling he's been "lied to." Reed and Sue arrive and Ben and Johnny are chastising for ruining the peace talk Reed spent weeks to set up. A betrayed Namor vows that their next fight will be to the finish.

Namor hires Franklin and Murdock to sue the human race on his behalf. When this doesn't work, he gets himself arrested so he can have his day in court. Realizing humanity won't listen, the Sub-Mariner goes on a rampage which brings Daredevil into the (hopeless) fray. Namor returns to the sea out of respect for DD and to stop Krang from taking over Atlantis.

Namor, the first, prince of Atlantis, emperor of the deep, lord of the seven seas,E
Namor returns to Atlantis to find that Warlord Krang has taken his throne. When he spurns the affections of Lady Dorma, she turns him in and he is arrested by Krang as a traitor. Realizing that the only thing that will allow him to regain his kingdom and his subjects is the Trident of Neptune, Namor escapes to go and recover it.

Nearing the end of his quest for Neptune's sacred trident, Prince Namor is...
Neptune sends a group of electric eels to help Namor defeat the Demon of the Diamonds. Learning that Dorma has been exiled to the land of the Faceless Ones, Namor heads off to rescue her. Back in Atlantis, the citizens begin an active revolt against Krang.
