On September 1, 1939, Hitler started World War II by invading Poland.
Synopsis:
As submarines threaten the lifeline of British supplies, the huge German battleship Bismarck sorties with one escort. The Royal Navy rushes forces to interpose, but Bismarck blows up British battleship Hood, leaving only three survivors. Bismarck escapes but is found again, beginning a running battle with attacks by smaller forces. The cumulative damage weakens Bismarck. Superior British forces finally catch up and sink the Bismarck.
