Hulk; Silver Surfer
Having 'caught' the Silver Surfer (believing him to be an alien starship), Hulk starts a fight with perhaps the only being on Earth stronger than Hulk is. The Surfer, irritated, knocks him out, then probes Hulk to discover the reason for his belligerence and discovers the damage done by the gamma radiation. Just as the Surfer prepares to reverse the damage and return Dr. Banner's life, Hulk wakes up and, seeing the action as an attack, lashes out. Disgusted, the Surfer leaves while Hulk vows to find the Surfer again and force him to take Hulk to the stars.

Once he makes it back to earth, he is accosted by Sandman who easily dupes the Hulk into believing he is his only friend in the world. On his new buddy's instructions, Hulk attacks Ross's missile base as the Sandman uses the diversion to try and steal some military hardware. Finally figuring out that he has been hornswaggled, Hulk beats up Sandman but then leaps away before Ross and Betty can tell him they may think he is not that bad a guy after all.

The Hulk has to battle the Super Humanoid in time to get back and stop the missile from striking its target but he takes too long beating the indestructible plastic monster.
