Supremus [Ulysses Abboud] (villain, introduction, death); Cedric Twigg-Smythe (Britain's most inhuman killer, cameo); Pierre St. Cyr (Criminal Czar of all France, cameo); Tumumba (African political assassin, cameo); Pepe Soulange (underworld king of the Casbah, cameo); Guiseppi Valenti (Sicilian assassin); Half-Man (introduction, death); Fatima Abboud (Supremus' half-sister, introduction)
This is the man who presides over SHIELD-- the one man who controls resources sufficient to block my march toward power!
Riots break out around the world following an assassination attempt on Fury. Other agents are being killed and the leaders of the riots exhibit no emotions. Aboard the Heli-Carrier a meeting of the board of directors is interrupted by a transmission from Supremus, who orders SHIELD to disband in the wake of Fury's death. Supremus plans to turn the world into a "laboratory" using genetic manipulation to turn the human race into slaves. With the help of Fatima, a woman seen at the riot in London, Nick stops Supremus from setting off hidden caches of "zombie gas" in the US by remote control.

Trimpe assisted on numerous pages/panels, including page 1, 6, 10, 11-13 and 16. Info per Nick Caputo, January 2018.

Tony Stark last seen in a SHIELD episode in Strange Tales (Marvel, 1951 series) #152 (January 1967). Fury gets a new Ferrari (between episodes) to replace the one destroyed by Scorpio in Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD (Marvel, 1968 Series) #5 (October 1968). Plot structure more confusing and awkward than usual.
