In this story (page 1, panel 1), Papa Bear's name is revealed to be Wilbur.

Great Moment: Hiding out in "Loveland Park", the frenzied, frocked Papa is accosted by an aggressive, oily, (and, presumably, French) lothario, al la Pepe le Pew but without the charm. In each of the next four panels, the lothario moves ever closer, becoming more and more affectionate - while Papa recoils and becomes more and more horrified... (Madly illustrated by Jim Tyer!)

LOTHARIO (1st panel): "Aha! Ze Lovely Lady."
LOTHARIO (2nd panel): "Madam, I speak to you of love. My heart is yours to command."
LOTHARIO (3rd panel): "Your eyes are like ze limpid pools."
LOTHARIO (4th panel [cuddles up to Papa, cheek-to-cheek]): "See, I tickle you with ze beautiful moustache..."

PAPA: "Wait a minute. I'm not a woman - I'M A MANNNN!"
LOTHARIO: "Ah! Madam. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Sniff, sniff, sniff!"

Papa finally boots him into a tree. Draped over a branch, the lothario laments: "'Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all."
