Notes:
Patricia Highsmith credit confirmed as her first work in comic books per her notebooks located at the Swiss Literary Archives and written about in the Highsmith biography "The Talented Miss Highsmith" (2009, page 167) by Joan Schenkar. Though her second published work, it is actually the third story she wrote for Richard Hughes, following the historical outline Hughes wrote for her. Highsmith notebook diary noted, "Hughes made an historical outline of Rickenbacker--a brilliant outline that I follow now." (Schenkar, page 167).
