Pages 8 and 17 have paid advertisements taking up the bottom third of the page.

Page 11 has a half-page house ad for Adventure Comics #380 (May 1969) at the bottom of the page.

This is a "modern" version of "The Case Of The Chemical Syndicate." An editorial note at the end of the story explains: "Every old-time BATMANIAC knows of BATMAN'S creation by teen-age BOB KANE! DC's current teen-rage, MIKE FRIEDRICH, updated this issue's yarn from the very first BATMAN story ever published (in DETECTIVE COMICS #27, May 1939)."
